I spent pretty much the whole day, and a good part of the evening working on getting the boat set up…
I managed to get the mast up by myself – the mast base attaches to a hinge on a swivel on the front beam. I raised the mast from the rear lifting it on my shoulders, stepping up onto the trampoline and pushing it all the way forward, again using my shoulders. I also rigged a pully from a bridle at the front of the boat to one of the trapeze lines and pulled on that as I was pushing the mast up.
I kept working well into the evening even after the sun went down. I managed to get the spinnaker pole and snuffer sock set up and then hoisted the spinnaker!
